Villopodium is Back

Ryan Villopoto had to be starting to think his 2008 season was a bad dream he was not going to wake up from. In his first three races of the 2008 season Ryan collided with another rider, hit a tough block and had his brakes fail. Finally, in Minneapolis this weekend Ryan came out of his fitful slumber to secure a “W” in a nail-biter with Josh Grant.



Riding with the go-for-broke style that won him three Lites Championships Ryan Villopoto chased down race leader Grant and passed him. Grant did not go away quietly though and hounded Villopoto throughout the race. A last lap mistake by Grant sealed Villopoto’s victory. 

The series next stop is north of the border in Toronto, Canada.
