At the Cross Triathlon European Championships in Orosei, Sardinia (Italy), which was part of the XTERRA Italy series, held over 1.5 km swimming, 30 km MTB and 10 km Trail-Running Sibylle Matter (Switzerland) once again could win the silver medal in this stunning race only 20 seconds behind her compatriot Renata Bucher.



“With my performance, I am well pleased, but with the ranking, I am a little bit disappointed because after two second ranks in the Cross Triathlon European Championships in 2007 and 2008 I dreamed of the title this year. In any case, I am delighted with the great running-Performance and am now confident for the Ironman 70.3 in Rapperswil by next Sunday.”
