SCOTT Athletes battle Snow and Clouds to find the podium at X Games 13

January 24, 2009The third day of Winter X Games 13 is winding down, and SCOTT Athletes keep plugging away at podium spots, and just all around skiing, boarding, and having a good time. The X course was cranking all day long with Boardercross and Graham Watanabe took home Silver for the men, while Sandra Frei also earned Silver on the women's side.

In skiing, it was the introduction of Women's Slopestyle to the X Games that had everyone talking. Between the slow speed of the new snow and the abundance of powder on the course, it was extremely difficult for the athletes to clear the jumps. However, once the snow stopped, SCOTT Athletes Keri Herman, and Meg Olenick finished in fourth and fifth respectively. Stay tuned for more news from Winter X 13.
