Henrik Harlaut wins European Freeski slopestyle event

SCOTT rider Henrik Harlaut from Sweden is the 2009 Slopestyle Champion after putting in an amazing performance at the 2200 m high Crap Sogn Gion mountain in Laax at the Orage European Freeski Open. He received the highest score from the judges, showing a combination over the kickerline with a rightside 720 nose, leftside double cork 1260, and switch leftside 9 nose mute.

"I’m so excited. To win here means a lot to me, now I am one of the best riders in the world," said Harlaut. "I felt pretty good the whole day, and I am really glad that I landed on top of the podium at this event.” 
Fellow SCOTT teamrider Alexis Godbout was placed fourth after an incredible run.

SCOTT team rider Keri Herman from the U.S. came in second after making it through qualifications and into the final.
