Impressions of Scott Product Launch
29.06.2009Scott Product Launch 2010 at Givisiez, Switzerland

Scott Genius 20 in a row, the TwinLoc System available on all Genius and Spark, adjusting shock and fork at same time!
In beginning of last week Scott USA was introducing the 2010 bike line to the US media people. As the US group did before, Scott Europe invited 45 editors of worldwide magazines to the Product Launch 2010 at Scott head quarter in Givisiez, Switzerland.
Along the five highlights TwinLoc System, CR1, Voltage FR, SUB and Plasma TT the editors got the chance to discover the entire Bike, Softgoods & Accessories product collection. The audience was listening, due to detailed and technical information at workshops by Product Managers and Engineers the editors were updated precisely.

A bunch of new CR1 SL, waiting for their testers.
To cut long stories short, the main part still was the test ride on the new products right afterwards. The editors got the chance to test the new TwinLoc System mounted on Genius bikes, CR1 and Voltage FR bikes, all on epic trails next to the Scott Company. The editors felt quite comfortable, along the bikes they were properly equipped and protected by Scott Bikewear, Gloves and Helmets. From head to toe.

Nino Schurter, XC Pro rider of Team Scott-Swisspower MTB Racing, set a new record on Scott's pump track up to 22 laps!

Timo Pritzel became a team manager. Marius Hoppensack, Simon Kirchmann and Peter Henke are listening to their mentor.
Along showing all products of course an event like this offers always the chance to introduce Scott’s great team riders to everybody. With lots of passion and energy all the guys were showing their incredible riding skills during these days, so a spectacular show on the Dirt track right behind the Scott building during an excellent BBQ was guaranteed. And yes, there was a new record set on the pump track with 22 laps, without pedaling of course, by Nino Schurter. Thanks to: Ben Walker, Timo Pritzel, Florian Vogel, Nino Schurter, Claudio Caluori, Holger Meyer, Marius Hoppensack, Simon Kirchmann, Peter Henke, Julien Fournier, Nick Beer, Fabien Pedemanaud, Aari Barrett, Vincent Ancelin, Thomas Tödtli, Dilan Dunkerton.

Ben Walker, went faaaaaast on the new Voltage FR, without gloves of course;)

Suicid No-Hander. Marius Hoppensack out in the Swiss forest somewhere on the new Voltage FR.

Hunting after Swiss rabbits? Fabien Pedemanaud from Team Scott11.
For all technical support while all test rides, a special tanks to our partners SRAM, Fox, DT Swiss and Shimano.
All in all, a great event by sunny weather did happen, and we’re looking forward to show the entire 2010 bike collection at Eurobike to you.
