DIRECT POWER TRANSFER
This new SCOTT MTB outsole minimizes the distance to the
pedal and transfers your power directly to the pedal. The
outsole features integral arch support which strengthens the
sole structure and provides a solid support for the foot to
reduce metatarsal flexion and compression. -
NEW ERGOLOGIC FOOTBED
Our high-end road and mountain shoes all come with a new anatomically
designed adjustable insole. Foot zoning allows us to consider the anatomical
shape of the foot to ergonomically pre-shape our insoles for a perfect fit
to support the cyclists foot. This provides a stable foundation for improved
comfort and power transfer -
HMX Carbon Fiber Sole
While we already use the proven HMF composite fiber on all our composite high-end bike models, we have improved upon conventional HMF material. This new fiber, which is produced exclusively for Scott, offers 20% more stiffness and is employed on all the areas that need additional rigidity. This new material also allows us to reduce weight and improve riding characteristics. NET stands for Naked External Tubeset, in which the frame sheds its exterior cosmetic layer, saving even more weight.
