CONTESSA GENIUS 15

The Contessa line is a no compromise group of products for serious female cyclists. These bikes are adapted to rider needs with the same high end equipment found on men’s racing bikes.

New TwinLoc technology
All of the new Contessa full suspension models feature the new handlebar mounted TwinLoc control lever, allowing the rider to keep both hands on the handlebars while selecting the desired travel settings or fully locking the suspension. Riders can switch between full travel, traction mode, and now complete lock out of both the fork and the Equalizer2 TC shock.

    Twinloc Lever System

Our patented TwinLoc technology now offers simultaneous control of rear shock travel and fork lockout. The open position allows full travel, front and rear. One click switches the rear shock to Traction mode, while the fork remains fully active. Click again and rear shock and fork lock at the same time. No other bike in the world offers this user friendly system.

    Equalizer 2 TC Shock

A perfect mix of lightweight and progressive but supple suspension action
    • All travel 150 mm
    • Traction mode 95 mm
    • Lock out

The Equalizer2 TC features positive and negative adjustable air chambers, rebound adjustment and of course, Traction Control features. Because the shock is mounted vertically, it can react more efficiently than an angle-mounted shock.

    IAP Isolated Axial Pivot

The Genius also uses a revolutionary Isolated Axial Pivot (IAP) that allows for unlimited seatpost adjustment and is very lightweight. Other designs with pivots on the seat tube have a limited range of seat adjustment because the pivot axle would normally stop the seatpost from sliding in any further. With IAP, the pivots are isolated from each other and either side of the seat tube, and there is no through-pivot axle, so the weight normally associated with a pivot of that size is reduced.

    SCDS SCOTT Carbon Dropout System

SCDS is a carbon fiber dropout with a replaceable alloy hanger. A lightweight, precise and durable alloy disc brake mount improves heat distribution while braking. Carbon chainstays with integrated carbon dropout shave additional grams from the complete bike.

    Direct Seal Cable Routing

All cable housings are protected from the elements. Unique routing through the bottom bracket forging improves shifting due to fewer bends.

    IMP4 - Integrated Molding Process

Our engineers have developed IMP4™, the newest technology applied to carbon production. The toptube, headtube, seat tube and down tube are produced in a single step using a top-secret process.
Our proprietary process allows for lighter construction by removing 11% of the material from the headtube intersection while increasing strength by utilizing high modulus stressed fibers for more precise fiber placement in critical areas. To compliment the IMP™ process, our frames benefit from our Naked External Tubeset™ which eliminates the cosmetic carbon layer to shave precious grams.
