Team Scott/Marcondes Cesar increases its gap
After Stage 6, the Scott/Marcondes Cesar/São Jose dos Campos team has increased its advantage over opponents and they are only three days away from the Triple Crown.
Even without winning yesterday's stage, the team has won three of the six stages so far and now has even more confidence to conquer this Tour one more time.
“Today Breno opened a gap along with 3 more riders and at one point they had 8 minutes on the main peloton. It was very positive for the team because we put ourselves in a confortable situation," said Team Manager Carlinhos. "We just let the other teams do the work. Our goal and strategy has been set since the first day of this tour and things are working very well, leading us to the Triple Crown next Sunday.”

Stage 7 will finish in São Jose dos Campos, the city where the Team Scott lives and trains, so they know the roads and conditions very well and that will give the team more confidence to win another stage.
