SCOTT rider posts fastest bike split at Florida Iron Man
SCOTT TRIATHLETE STEFFEN LIEBETRAU POSTS FASTEST BIKE SPLIT AT IRONMAN FLORIDA
Sun Valley, ID, November 7, 2005 - Since the release of Scott’s new PLASMA triathlon bike, Scott sponsored athletes have been breaking personal best times and putting a gap on the competition during the bike split. In the case Steffen Liebetrau, the gap was 6 minutes, 10 seconds at the recent Ironman Florida. Steffen finished second overall in the race and was aboard his brand new PLASMA for the bike leg.
“After a disappointing race in Kona I was feeling I needed to redeem myself. I have always had a good experience with the CR1 frame and was very happy to receive my new CR1 PLASMA in time for Florida”, said Liebetrau.
The 980 gram PLASMA frame uses TRUEAERO CR1 technology to achieve a fantastic minimal overall weight and aero shape. To learn more about the PLASMA, visit: www.scottusa.com/plasma/
