Last Day in Belgium for Scott squad

The hard work for Aaron Olson and the rest of the Saunier Duval-Prodir crew is finished. Well, at least the Belgian portion is finished. The team will fly to Parma tonight, before the scheduled rest day tomorrow, and will then continue the Giro d'Italia with the team time trial from Piacenza to Cremona on Thursday.
Tifosi, with sharp eyes, would have noticed the Oregonian, Olson, hammering an infernal rhythm on the front of the peloton with 20K to go. Olson was at the front with other big engines like Bert Roesems (Davitamon-Lotto), to keep the peloton rolling along at a high pace. Bravo Aaron!
"Now I return to my home, back in Italy," said Olson's teammate, two-time Giro champion Gilberto Simoni after the finish. "Today, and for the last four days, the Belgians have really showed us their love for cycling."
His rivals? "Savoldelli is really going strong, as he demonstrated yesterday. Also Cunego made a great move yesterday to join the first group. Certainly Belgium provided some surprises, like always in the Giro, but there is still a lot of racing left.
