2008 WEC opening in Sweden

The 2008 Maxxis FIM World Enduro Championship started this weekend in Sweden. Overcoming the challenging conditions of a snow covered course, Scott riders Juha Salminen, Samuli Aro and Marko Tarkkala were able to finish high in the standings. They proved that ice, snow and deep ruts were not a problem for them. Training in Scandinavia, these conditions were nothing new to the trio of Scott riders!

In the E2 class, Juha Salminen placed third the first day and then upped the pace on the second day to finish first.

In the E3 class, Samuli Aro and Marko Tarkkala occupied  first and second place on the podium the whole weekend.

  The next round of the 2008 Maxxis FIM World Enduro Championship is in Vale de Cambra, Portugal, March 29-30.
