Scott USA builds new warehouse

Scott USA to build new Warehouse & Manufacturing Facilities

Sun Valley, ID, September 15, 2005 — For the past eight months, Scott USA has been developing long term plans for their warehousing space and manufacturing facility. With the growing bike, wintersports, and motocross groups, space has been at a premium in their current facility. Scott USA recently selected a new location in North Ogden, Utah just outside Salt Lake.

Scott USA has contracted to build a new 240,000 square foot facility and an additional space for conference centers and offices. Construction will begin immediately, with a tentative completion date of May 31, 2006 and a targeted occupation date of July 31, 2006. All Scott USA warehousing operations will move to the new location. The move will consolidate all shipping, warehousing and manufacturing operations into one state-of-the-art facility. This will provide the infrastructure necessary for Scott USA to execute its long-term plans for growth throughout the business.
