Burandt goes Global

      Sun Valley, ID - Chris Burandt, X Games Gold Medalist and backcountry/freestyle snowmobile dominator, has had a busy few weeks. Immediately after charging with reckless abandon the last leg of this year’s Baja 1000 and showcasing some heretofore unknown driving skills, Burandt caught a flight to Munich, Germany to compete in the Nokia Air and Style Event. Chris and a handful of the other top snowmobile freestylers were asked to showcase their sport at the world renowned snowboard event. Attacking the course on a borrowed machine and with few to no days of riding under his belt in the last six months, Chris was still able to secure second place in the event. Chris used his impressive repertoire of tricks like the Holy Man and Tsunami to entertain the rabid fans and earn high scores from the judges.   Now back in the States, Chris is hard at work putting the final touches on his new VIP backcountry riding service.
