SCOTT athletes fill the podium at Big Bear Open
March 9, 2008 - After a weekend of fun in the So Cal sun, the Big Bear Open came to an end today. With highs in the upper 50s both days, both the Halfpipe and the Slopestyle courses had their fair share of slush, but the athletes powered through and enjoyed the days. Siena Palmacci continued her season of skiing strong and took home third in the Womens Slopestyle, while Christian Allen also skiied well and finished just off the podium in fifth place.

Joss Christiansen
The slopestyle course, with some flat landings, proved to be rough on many of the athletes, but that didn't stop the SCOTT men from skiing well. Joss Christiansen led the team, finishing second, with Adam Battersby in third, Lil Jon Strenio in fourth, Alex Dillard fifth, and the proud papa himself, Tim Russell, finished sixth. Not a bad day for the SCOTT Team. On the ladies' side, Meg Olenick used her SCOTT poles to push herself right onto the top step of the podium, taking home the win.

Congrats to everyone who competed this weekend on a job well done!
