SCOTT SBX riders sweep final World Cup
March 13, 2008 - SCOTT International Teamriders Sandra Frei and Mateusz Ligocki won the last snowboard cross race of the 2007/2008 Nokia Snowboard FIS World Cup season in Valmalenco, Italy.
Ligocki achieved Poland’s first ever SBX World Cup victory and secured sixth place for the season standings.
Sandra Frei of Switzerland celebrated her best result of the season and second career victory in defeating Alexandra Jekova (Bulgaria) and Dominique Maltais (Canada). Frei’s victory also earned her sixth place for the season.
