SCOTT European skiers go to the U.S.

Jeep U.S. Freeskiing Open

One of the most prestigious freeskiing eventswill be held next week from January 18 -21, 2006, the Jeep U.S. Freeskiing Open Championships, which will take place in Vail, Colorado - the ninth edition. Freeskiing's elite riders from around the world will compete in three different disciplines: Slopestyle, Superpipe and Big Air, and will fight for prize money totalling $60,000.

SCOTT riders and Swedish youngsters Henrik and Oscar Harlaut are going to show their talent and compete with the big and famous names of freeskiing. SCOTT International Freeski Team leader Laurent Favre from France is travelling to Vail too. He was invited after his third place in the Big Air at the last year's U.S. Open. After the Open, Laurent will travel to Aspen, Colorado to compete at the Winter X-Games.
