Vinzenz Lüps On the Podium Twice in Japan

Scott rider Vinz scored a solid second place in halfpipe at the Nippon Open in Japan, one of the biggest snowboard events on the planet. First went to Kazuhiro Kokubo (JPN), while Mikka Hast (FIN) was third.

At the FIS World Cup Halfpipe event in Niigata, Joetsu, Japan, Vinz finished third while Steven Fisher (USA) was first and Antti Autti (FIN) was second.
